Ingredients/Components
- cups sugar - 2 item
- cups flour - 2 item
- soda - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- cup buttermilk - 1/2 item
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- tsp vanilla - 2 item
- cup Cocoa - 1/2 item
- cup water - 1 item
- stick butter 1/2 cup - 1 item
- cup oil - 1/2 item
- In a second bowl, beat together the eggs, buttermilk, cinnamon, and vanilla
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- Tbsp Cocoa - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1 lb
How to make chocolate cake:
Sift together sugar, flour, soda, and salt in a bowl; beat.In a second bowl, beat together the eggs, buttermilk, cinnamon, and vanilla. After it is smooth add to dry ingredients.
In a small pan bring to a boil cocoa, water, butter, and oil. Then add hot cocoa mixture to the other ingredients. Mix.
Bake at 350 degrees.Icing:1 stick butter6 Tbsp. milk4 Tbsp Cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1 lb. powdered sugar Put butter, milk, cocoa, and vanilla into a pan. Bring to a boil but don't boil. Remove from heat. When slightly cooled add the powdered sugar.
