  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • vegetable oil - 1/4 c
  • ginger - 1 tsp
  • soy sauce - 1/4 c
  • can sliced water chestnuts - 1 item
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • beef stock - 1/2 c
  • green peppers - 3 item
  • large onions - 2 item
  • top round or sirloin, cut in strips - 2 lb
