Chili mac
Ingredients/Components
- water - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 3 item
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/2 c
- ground beef - 1 lb
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- chopped tomatoes - 1 c
- cumin - 1 tsp
- kidney beans - 1 c
- cooked macaroni - 2 c
How to make chili mac:
Cook first 4 ingredients in large pan over medium heat until browned, stirring to crumble beef. Drain well. Wipe pan with paper towel. Return beef mixture to pan. Add cooked elbow macaroni and next 6 ingredients. Stir well. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Top with cheese.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Main dish, For 1 or 2.
