Ingredients/Components
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 oz
- ground beef
- olive oil - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaves - 2 item
- kidney beans, drained - 30 oz
- salt if desired - 1 tsp
- very large onion - 1 item
- very large green pepper - 1 item
- chili powder more if very hot chili is desired - 2 Tbsp
- stewed tomatoes 3 cans
How to make chili:
Brown beef in large pot. Drain and remove from pot. Chop onion and pepper; cook in oil until tender. Add beef and all ingredients, except beans. Cook for 2 hours. Add beans; cook for additional 15 minutes. Let sit overnight in refrigerator.This chili is not super hot. I put the chili powder on the table so those who like it very hot can add more to it.
