Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1/4 tsp
- salt
- garlic powder - 2 tsp
- diced onion - 1 item
- diced green pepper - 1/2 item
- chili powder - 2 tsp
- can stewed tomatoes - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- ground cumin - 2 tsp
- red pepper, crushed - 1 tsp
- can cooked kidney beans - 1 lb
- dash of clove powder - 1 item
How to make chili:
Brown meat in heavy pan. Reduce heat and add green peppers, onion, kidney beans and tomatoes. Simmer and add seasonings. Cook 1/2 hour until thick. Serve with grated Monterey Jack cheese.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
