Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- paprika - 1 tsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- parsley flakes - 1 tsp
- oregano - 1 tsp
- ground meat - 1 2
- bell pepper - 1 item
- onions - 1 item
- canned tomatoes - 32 oz
- garlic powder not salt - 1 tsp
- dry pintos - 1 2
How to make chili:
Cook beans until tender; drain broth and save. Cook meat, onion and bell peppers together. Drain well and add to beans. Add tomatoes, chopped up. Add black bean broth until it covers mixture. Add spices. Cover and simmer 2 to 3 hours. Stir occasionally. Freezes well. Serve with cornbread.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
