Ingredients/Components
- salt
- oil - 1/2 c
- cloves - 6 item
- pepper - 1/2 Tbsp
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- parsley flakes - 6 Tbsp
- oregano
- tomato juice - 18 c
- green peppers - 4 item
- sweet basil - 1 Tbsp
- onions - 2 c
- hot peppers optional - 2 Tbsp
- bay leaves remove after cooking - 3 item
- celery stalk optional - 1 item
How to make homemade spaghetti sauce:
Combine and cook until thick and vegetables are tender, 1 to 3 hours. Put in hot, sterilized pint jars; seal and set aside to cool. Mark and store in dark place.Recipe categories: Sauces, Condiments, etc., Italian.
