Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- chili powder - 1 Tbsp
- bay leaf - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- can tomato soup - 1 item
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- cayenne pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can tomatoes - 1 lb
- can kidney beans - 1 lb
How to make chili:
Over medium heat, cook onion and meat until brown, stirring often. Add tomatoes, soup, paprika, cayenne, bay leaf and chili powder. Simmer 1 hour, adding water if it gets too thick. Stir in salt and kidney beans; do not drain beans. Heat thoroughly. Makes about 6 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, One Dish meal, Chili.
