Chicken tortilla casserole
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- chicken broth - 4 tsp
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
- minced onion - 1 Tbsp
- fryer - 1 item
- small can mild green chilies - 1 item
- flour tortillas cut tortillas into 8 wedges, or corn tortillas may be used - 10 item
How to make chicken tortilla casserole:
Cook chicken; debone and cut in pieces. Combine soup, milk, onion and green chilies along with chicken broth and mix well. Grease casserole and add in layers: liquid first, then chicken, cheese and tortilla wedges, ending with liquid and cheese on top. Use 2-quart casserole.
