Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 qt
- flour - 2/3 c
- oleo
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can mushroom soup - 1 item
- grated American cheese - 1/2 lb
- sweet pepper, chopped - 1 item
- spaghetti, cooked in chicken broth - 1 lb
- stewed chicken, boned and diced - 1 item
How to make chicken tetrazzini:
White Sauce:1/2 lb. oleo2/3 c. flour1 qt. milk1/2 lb. grated American cheese Make White Sauce: Melt oleo, stir in flour and mix well. Add milk and cook over moderate heat until thick. Remove from heat and add grated American cheese. Stir until cheese is melted.Mix White Sauce with first 5 ingredients. Pour into casserole dishes and bake until mixture bubbles. Makes large quantity and freezes well before baking.
