Chicken cashew
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vegetable oil - 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- dash of paprika - 1 item
- cashews - 1 c
- chopped green onions - 1/2 c
- sliced mushrooms - 1/2 lb
- cooked rice - 1 item
- green pepper, cut in strips - 1 item
- chicken breasts, cut in strips - 1 lb
How to make chicken cashew:
Blend 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 1 tablespoon soy sauce; toss chicken and allow to marinate for 20 minutes. In a large skillet, combine oil and garlic; add chicken. Cook and stir several minutes. Add vegetables and cashews; stir-fry until tender. Combine cornstarch, soy sauce, sugar, water and paprika. Add to chicken mix and cook until thickened.
