Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- butter, melted - 4 Tbsp
- chopped chives - 1 Tbsp
- can crescent rolls - 1 oz
- cooked and cubed chicken - 2 c
- seasoned croutons, crushed - 3/4 c
How to make chicken squares:
Heat oven to 350°. In medium bowl blend cream cheese and 2 tablespoons of butter until smooth. Add next three ingredients and mix. Separate crescent dough into 4 rectangles. Firmly press to seal. Then cut in half.Spoon 1/4 cup of meat mixture into center of each crescent rectangle and pull the 4 corners to top of chicken mixture. Seal edges. Brush tops with remaining butter mixture. Dip in crouton crumbs. Bake crumb side up on ungreased cookie sheet for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
