Ingredients/Components
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- diced celery - 1/2 c
- cooked diced chicken - 2 c
- slivered almonds - 1/3 c
- shredded American cheese - 3/4 c
- drained crushed pineapple - 1/2 c
- paprika and salt - 1/2 tsp
How to make chicken salad pie:
Turn into baked crust. Whip 1/2 cup cream very stiff. Fold in 1/4 cup mayonnaise. Spread over salad in pie shell, leaving 1-inch of salad around edge, uncovered. Place in 450° oven for 8 to 10 minutes. Serve immediately. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Poultry, Meat.
