Chicken roll-ups
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 item
- slivered almonds
- to 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 item
- Sauce:1 can mushroom soup
- seasoned mustard of your choice - 1 item
- shredded Romano or Parmesan cheese - 1 item
- to 6 slices thinly sliced honey-baked ham or any thinly sliced deli meat - 4 item
- to 6 thin slices bacon - 4 item
How to make chicken roll-ups:
Sauce:1 can mushroom soup sour cream Topping:4 oz. slivered almonds You will need toothpicks.Flatten chicken breast. Spread mustard over chicken breast. Season to taste one side of each chicken breast. Place 1 ham slice on each chicken breast; sprinkle with cheese. Roll up each chicken breast. Wrap bacon slices around each rolled chicken breast; secure with toothpicks. Bake in a 350° oven until bacon is crisp. Use pan that allows for dipping, or cook on grill for approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
Sauce: Heat the mushroom soup with the sour cream.
Topping: Toast almonds.
To Serve: Remove toothpicks. Place chicken on a bed of rice. Pour sauce over chicken; top with slivered almonds.
