- sour cream - 1 c
- water - 3/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- medium tomato, seeded and chopped - 1 item
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- chicken, cut up - 1 (3
- butter or oil - 1/4 c
- green pepper, seeded and chopped - 1 item
- sweet or hot paprika - 1 Tbsp
How to make chicken paprikash:
Heat butter in skillet. Add onion and saute over medium heat 2 minutes. Add 1/4 cup water. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer over very low heat 20 minutes. Add chicken, pepper, tomato, paprika, salt and pepper to taste. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup water. Cover and simmer over low heat 35 minutes or until chicken is tender. Serve sour cream separately.
