Chicken noodle soup
Ingredients/Components
- water - 12 c
- pepper - 1/4 1/2
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- bay leaf - 1 item
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cooked chicken, diced - 4 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- instant chicken bouillon - 3 Tbsp
- marjoram leaves - 1/2 tsp
- butter or oleomargarine - 1/4 c
- wide egg noodles uncooked - 6 oz
How to make chicken noodle soup:
Cook celery and onion in butter until tender. Add remaining ingredients except parsley and noodles. Simmer 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add noodles and parsley. Cook 10 minutes or longer until noodles are tender.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
