Chicken noodle soup
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 6 oz
- margarine - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/4 1/2
- chopped onion - 1 c
- chopped celery - 1 c
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- cooked chicken, diced - 4 c
- diced carrots - 1 c
- to 2 bay leaves - 1 item
- marjoram leaves - 1/2 tsp
- chicken flavor instant bouillon - 3 Tbsp
- water or broth from chicken - 12 c
How to make chicken noodle soup:
In a large pot, cook celery and onion in margarine until tender. Add remaining ingredients except noodles and parsley. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 30 minutes. Remove bay leaf. Add noodles and parsley. Cook 10 minutes longer or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.Recipe categories: Soups & stews, Chicken, Pasta.
