Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 2 c
  • paprika - 1 item
  • green onions, sliced - 1 item
  • small onion, chopped - 1 item
  • cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item
  • cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
  • flour tortillas - 12 item
  • can black olives optional - 1 item
  • grated jack cheese - 3/4 c
  • large chicken breasts, cooked and diced - 4 item
  • small can Ortega green chiles, drained and chopped - 1 item

How to make chicken chalupas:

Combine soup, chiles, onion, sour cream, sliced olives, and jack cheese. Mix, set aside 1 1/2 c. of mixture. Add chicken to main mixture. Fill the tortillas and roll up. Place filled tortillas in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Pour remaining mixture over tortillas. Sprinkle 3/4 c. cheddar cheese on top and garnish with green onion and paprika. Bake uncovered at 350° for 45 minutes.
