Ingredients/Components
- dry white wine - 1/2 c
- clove garlic - 1 item
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- olive oil - 2 tsp
- salt to taste - 1 item
- tomato sauce - 8 oz
- small bay leaf - 1 item
- spaghetti - 1 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- chicken, cut up - 1 item
- dried thyme - 1/4 tsp
- dried marjoram - 1/4 tsp
- can tomatoes with juice - 16 oz
How to make chicken cacciatore:
Heat the oil and cook the chicken in it until the chicken is golden brown. Add remaining ingredients, except the spaghetti. Cover and simmer for 1 hour or until chicken is tender. Remove bay leaf. Serve with spaghetti.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
