Chicken breast supreme
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/3 1/2
- chicken broth - 1 c
- bread crumbs - 1 item
- can mushrooms - 4 oz
- stick oleo - 3/4 item
- chicken breasts - 4 item
How to make chicken breast supreme:
Cut chicken breasts into 3 pieces (remove bones and skin). Beat eggs and salt; add chicken strips to egg mixture. Let set 1 hour; remove chicken from eggs. Roll in bread crumbs; using skillet, melt oleo and saute chicken a few minutes. Place sauteed chicken in baking dish; top with mushrooms and chunks of cheese. Add broth; bake, uncovered, at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.Note: I use buttermilk in place of eggs, less cholesterol.
