Ingredients/Components
- water - 3/4 c
- clove garlic, minced - 1 item
- instant chicken bouillon granules
- chopped onions - 1 c
- chopped carrots - 3/4 c
- chicken breasts, skinned - 4 item
- poultry seasoning - 1/2 tsp
- pearl barley - 1/2 c
- fresh snipped parsley - 2 Tbsp
How to make chicken and barley bake:
In a medium saucepan, combine onion, carrots, water, barley, bouillon granules, poultry seasoning and garlic. Heat mixture to boiling. Pour hot mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Arrange chicken breast atop mixture. Bake, covered, in a 350° oveRecipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Casseroles.
