  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • instant chicken bouillon granules
  • chopped onions - 1 c
  • chopped carrots - 3/4 c
  • chicken breasts, skinned - 4 item
  • poultry seasoning - 1/2 tsp
  • pearl barley - 1/2 c
  • fresh snipped parsley - 2 Tbsp

How to make chicken and barley bake:

In a medium saucepan, combine onion, carrots, water, barley, bouillon granules, poultry seasoning and garlic. Heat mixture to boiling. Pour hot mixture into a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Arrange chicken breast atop mixture. Bake, covered, in a 350° ove
