Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- water - 1/3 c
- can tart cherries - 1 item
- heaping flour or cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
How to make cherry tarts:
Grease outside of muffin tin. Using favorite pie crust recipe, put crust on outside of tin. Prick and bake at 400° for approximately 8 minutes.Combine cherries and sugar and bring to a good boil. Mix flour or cornstarch with water. Stir cherries and pour in; add a few drops of red food coloring. Let cool. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Place in shell and top with whipped cream or ice cream.
