- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- margarine - 1 c
- large container Cool Whip - 1 item
- cans cherry pie filling - 2 item
How to make cherry delight dessert:
Filling:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1 large container Cool Whip2 cans cherry pie filling Crust: Mix the crust ingredients like regular pie crust, only do not add any water. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan and bake 15 minutes at 400°. When cool, use a fork to crumble the crust into pieces. Leave in pan.Filling: Cream the cream cheese and add powdered sugar and vanilla. Fold Cool Whip into cream cheese mixture. Spread mixture over crust. Spread pie cherries over cheese mixture. Refrigerate pie for at least 12 hours before serving. Will keep for several days.
