Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- oil
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- chopped maraschino cherries - 1/2 c
- lemon extract - 1 tsp
- chopped almonds - 1/2 c
- anise extract - 2 Tbsp
How to make cherry biscuits:
Mix everything together and pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes until golden. Slice into thin strips (1 x 3-inch) and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 minutes more to harden and make golden on the sides.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Brunch.
