Cheesy potato bake

Ingredients/Components

• sour cream - 1 pt
• pepper - 1/2 tsp
• can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
• shredded Cheddar cheese - 2 c
• melted butter or margarine, divided - 1 c
• Southern-style hash browns or zesty hash browns with peppers and onions - 1 bag
• minced onion or 2 Tbsp - 1/2 c
• crushed corn flakes to cover - 2 more

How to make cheesy potato bake:

Mix all ingredients, except corn flakes and 1/2 cup butter. Spread in 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix crushed corn flakes and butter together and sprinkle over top to cover. Bake uncovered 1 hour at 325° to 350°.
