Cheesy cornbread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- 8 oz - 2 c
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- oregano - 1/2 tsp
- yellow corn meal - 1 c
How to make cheesy cornbread:
Preheat oven to 425°. Combine dry ingredients; stir in 1 cup cheese. Add milk, margarine and egg; mix well. Pour into a greased 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Breads, High calcium.
