Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- sugar - 1/4 c
- butter, melted - 1/4 c
- Cover bottom and part way up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- grated lemon peel or lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- Add sugar, eggs, vanilla and lemon; beat until smooth
- sour cream - 2 c
How to make cheesecake:
Combine cracker crumbs, sugar and butter. Cover bottom and part way up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan. Press lightly and chill.Filling:2 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese1/2 c. sugar3 eggs1 tsp. vanilla2 Tbsp. grated lemon peel or lemon juice Beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla and lemon; beat until smooth. Pour into crumb-lined pan. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 25 minutes. Remove and cool at room temperature.Topping:1/4 c. sugar1 tsp. vanilla2 c. sour cream Fold sugar and vanilla into sour cream. Spread sour cream mixture over cooled, baked cake.
