  • ground beef
  • tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • oregano - 1/2 tsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • Drain
  • grated cheese American Cheddar - 1 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • salt and pepper - 1 item

How to make cheeseburger pie:

Brown the onion and ground beef. Drain. Mix the the tomato sauce, bread crumbs, oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Place in unbaked deep dish pie shell.Topping:1 c. cottage cheese1 c. grated cheese (American Cheddar)1 egg salt and pepper Mix all together and pour on top of ground beef mixture. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
