Cheeseburger pie
Ingredients/Components
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- unbaked pie shell - 1 item
- ground beef - 1 lb
- onion, chopped - 1/3 c
- tomato sauce - 1/4 c
- seasoned salt - 1/2 tsp
- green pepper, chopped - 1/3 c
- can French fried onions - 1 item
- slices American cheese, cut up - 8 item
How to make cheeseburger pie:
Bake pie shell for 8 minutes at 350°. In large skillet, saute pepper and onion in small amount of oil. Add meat and cook until brown. Pour off fat; add cheese and stir until melted. Remove from heat and stir in eggs and tomato sauce. Turn into pie shell and bake 25 minutes. Remove from oven; arrange additional cheese slices and onion rings on top.
