Ingredients/Components
- flour - 1 c
- grated cheese - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 2 3
- pinch of oregano - 1 item
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
How to make cheese straws:
Mix flour, cheese, baking powder and seasoning in a bowl. Add beaten egg. Mix. Add enough milk to make a stiff dough. Pinch off a small piece of dough and on a flat surface, roll with your hands into a straw, about 1/2-inch thick and 4 or 5-inches long. If the ends are pointy, cut ends off and return to dough.
