Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- egg - 1 item
- salad oil - 2 Tbsp
- cornmeal - 1/2 c
- paprika - 2 tsp
- garlic powder - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- hot dogs - 8 item
- salad oil or shortening to fry in - 1 item
How to make corn dogs:
Combine all ingredients, except hot dogs, flour and oil or shortening. Roll hot dogs in flour, then in batter. Heat oil or shortening to 375°. Fry dogs for 2 to 3 minutes or until golden brown. Drain well on paper towels.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, < 30 mins, Kid Friendly.
