Ingredients/Components
- flour
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- ice water - 2 Tbsp
- red pepper to taste - 1 item
- sharp cheese, grated - 2 c
How to make cheese straws:
Mix together butter, cheese, flour, salt and red pepper. Add ice water and knead together. Roll out to 1/4-inch thick. Cut in strips. Sprinkle with paprika. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 300° oven until browned. Sprinkle again with redRecipe categories: Eggs/dairy, < 15 mins, Cheese.
