  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • stick margarine - 1/2 item
  • powdered sugar
  • peanut butter - 1/2 c
  • Chex cereal Corn, Rice, Wheat, Multi-Bran or Graham - 9 c

How to make chex muddy buddies:

Pour cereal into a large bowl; set aside. In a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, peanut butter and margarine. Cook 1 to 1 1/2 minutes until smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Pour cereal into a Glad lock bag with powdered sugar. Shake until all pieces are coated. Spread on wax paper to cool.
