Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1/8 Tbsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- American or Cheddar cheese - 1/4 lb
How to make cheese puffs:
Finely grate the cheese. Place all the ingredients in a bowl and blend together with fingers until smooth. Chill for 1 hour. Take chilled mixture and form into 1/2-inch size balls. Place on baking sheet and chill for 1/2 hour. Place baking sheet in a 350° oven for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
