Cheddar cheese straws
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 3
- paprika - 1/2 tsp
- sticks margarine, softened - 3 item
- sharp Cheddar cheese, grated at room temperature - 1 lb
How to make cheddar cheese straws:
Cream margarine and cheese in a bowl. Add salt, paprika and flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well after each addition. Press through star tip of a cookie press onto a cookie sheet. Cut into 1 to 2-inch lengths. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes. Yields 12 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Appetizers, Cheese.
