Cheddar-apple bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 3/4 c
- flour
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- margarine, melted - 1/3 c
- apples, peeled and chopped
- sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded - 2 c
How to make cheddar-apple bread:
Combine dry ingredients. Combine eggs, milk and margarine; mix well. Stir in remaining ingredients. Spoon into greased and floured 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake at 350° for 65 to 70 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes. Remove from pan. Makes 1 loaf.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Apple.
