Ingredients/Components
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- fresh blueberries
- egg - 1 item
- milk - 1/2 c
- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- Gently fold in blueberries in a small bowl
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
How to make blueberry coffee cake:
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, cinnamon and salt. Gently fold in blueberries in a small bowl. Whisk together the egg, milk and margarine. Add to the flour mixture; stir carefully. Spread into a greased 8 x 8-inch baking pan.Topping:1/4 c. margarine, melted3/4 c. packed brown sugar1 Tbsp. flour1/2 c. chopped nuts Combine all topping ingredients; sprinkle over batter.
