Ingredients/Components
- ground beef - 2 lb
- small can tomato paste - 1 item
- bottle onion flakes - 1/4 item
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1 item
- pepperoni, cut up - 1 pkg
- Chili-O mix - 1/2 pkg
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 1 pkg
- sharp Cheddar or American cheese, shredded - 1 pkg
- assorted noodles egg are best - 1 item
How to make cavatini:
Brown beef. Add green pepper and onion flakes. Drain fat and let simmer. Add tomato paste and 1/2 can water. Add pepperoni. Cook 1 package noodles; drain. Add garlic powder and Chili-O mix to noodles. Add all to meat mixture. Put half of meat mixture into 2-quart casserole dish. Sprinkle half of cheese, then add rest of meat mixture, then rest of cheese. Place in oven for 10 minutes at 350°, or until cheese melts.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Beef.
