Ingredients/Components

  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
  • cashews - 1/2 c
  • stalks celery - 2 item
  • hoisin sauce - 2 Tbsp
  • fresh mushrooms - 1 c
  • chicken breasts - 2 item
  • sherry - 1 Tbsp
  • green pepper - 1 item
  • red pepper - 1 item
  • water chestnuts - 1/2 c
  • head broccoli - 1 item

How to make cashew chicken:

Cut chicken into cubes. Marinate chicken in soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch. Chop all vegetables into bite size pieces. Heat wok or large frying pan to 400°. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and stir-fry vegetables for 3 minutes, then remove from wok. Add 3 tablespoons of oil; add chicken and stir-fry until chicken is white. Immediately add hoisin sauce; mix thoroughly. Re-add vegetables to heat. Add cashews. Serve over rice.
