Cashew chicken
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 1 Tbsp
- cashews - 1/2 c
- stalks celery - 2 item
- hoisin sauce - 2 Tbsp
- fresh mushrooms - 1 c
- chicken breasts - 2 item
- sherry - 1 Tbsp
- green pepper - 1 item
- red pepper - 1 item
- water chestnuts - 1/2 c
- head broccoli - 1 item
How to make cashew chicken:
Cut chicken into cubes. Marinate chicken in soy sauce, sherry and cornstarch. Chop all vegetables into bite size pieces. Heat wok or large frying pan to 400°. Add 2 tablespoons of oil and stir-fry vegetables for 3 minutes, then remove from wok. Add 3 tablespoons of oil; add chicken and stir-fry until chicken is white. Immediately add hoisin sauce; mix thoroughly. Re-add vegetables to heat. Add cashews. Serve over rice.Recipe categories: Chicken, Poultry, Meat.
