Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- soda
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- cooking oil
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- crushed pineapple and juice
- grated raw carrots - 2 c
How to make carrot cake:
Frosting:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 box powdered sugar1 stick margarine2 tsp. vanilla Sift together flour, baking powder, soda, salt and cinnamon; then set aside. Mix together the cooking oil, sugar and eggs, beating after each. Add dry ingredients and mix well until smooth. Add carrots, pineapple and pecans. Grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan. Bake 1 hour at 350°. Cool completely and spread with cream cheese frosting. Beat frosting ingredients until of spreading consistency.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Carrots.
