Ingredients/Components

  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • cream cheese
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 2 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • powdered sugar - 1-1/2 c
  • sifted flour - 2 c
  • carrots - 3 c
  • stick oleo - 1/2 item
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • cup salad oil - 1-1/4 item

How to make carrot cake:

Icing:8 oz. cream cheese1-1/2 c. powdered sugar1/2 stick oleo1 tsp. vanilla Combine salad oil and granulated sugar. Sift together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir in dry ingredients with oil and sugar mixture. Add eggs, carrots, and pecans. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 325° for 50 minutes to one hour. Cool and frost.
