  • sugar - 2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • eggs - 5 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour
  • oil
  • grated carrots - 3 c
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 2 tsp
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • box confectioners sugar - 1 item

How to make carrot cake:

Preheat oven to 350°. Grease and flour three 8-inch round pans. Cream the oil and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time; add dry ingredients; stir in carrots and nuts. Bake for 35 minutes.

Frosting: Allow ingredients to reach room temperature. Use electric mixer and mix the cream cheese, butter, vanilla and sugar.

Store cake in refrigerator until ready to frost. Allow to cool completely before frosting.
