Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- grated carrots - 2 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 3 c
- margarine - 6 Tbsp
- ground cinnamon - 2 tsp
- oil Crisco
- well drained crushed pineapple - 1 c
- Add eggs, oil, carrots and vanilla
How to make carrot cake:
Mix dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil, carrots and vanilla. Beat until well combined. Stir in pineapple, coconut and nuts. Pour in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool, frost and enjoy!Cream Cheese Frosting:2 pkg. (3 oz. each) cream cheese3 c. powdered sugar6 Tbsp. margarine1 tsp. vanilla Cream together cheese and powdered sugar.
