Carrot bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- cooking oil - 1/2 c
- shredded carrots - 2 c
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- ground cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
How to make carrot bread:
Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Combine oil, milk, eggs and vanilla. Add to flour mixture; stir just until combined. Stir in carrots and nuts. Pour into 2 greased 7 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pans. Bake in 300° oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Remove from pan and cool on a wire rack. Wrap and store overnight or can be frozen for later use.
