Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1 c
- brown sugar, packed - 1 c
How to make caramel squares:
Mix brown sugar and butter. Let boil a few minutes. When cool, add egg and beat well. Add remaining ingredients. Bake in an 8 x 8-inch pan for 30 minutes at 350°. Will be soft.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
