Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- egg yolks - 2 item
- boiling water - 1/2 c
- stick butter - 1/2 item
- sweet milk - 1 c
How to make caramel pie:
Cook all but last two ingredients together until it thickens. While cooking, brown 1/3 cup sugar and add boiling water to the browned sugar. Cook until smooth. Add to mixture. Pour into crust and bake until done. Top with meringue and brown.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
