Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- bags microwave popcorn - 2 item
- pecans as much as you like - 1 item
How to make caramel corn:
Spread popped popcorn and pecans on cookie sheet. Boil butter, salt, brown sugar and corn syrup for 5 minutes on medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in soda. Pour over popcorn. Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring it every 15 minutes. Let cool before eating. Bake until crispy and dry. Can add peanuts.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
