Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- light corn syrup - 1/2 c
- raw peanuts - 1 c
- popcorn unsalted - 5 qt
How to make candied popcorn:
Combine popcorn and peanuts in a lightly greased roasting pan; mix well. Melt butter in a saucepan; stir in brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat; stir in soda, salt and vanilla. Pour mixture over popcorn; stir until coated. Bake at 250° for 1 hour; stir every 15 minutes.
