Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- butter - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- popped popcorn - 5 7
- Karo - 1/2 c
How to make caramel corn:
Mix butter, Karo, brown sugar and white sugar in saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil. Boil about 6 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Place on two greased cookie sheets and bake one hour at 200°, stirring every 15 minutes. Then pour on waxed paper to cool. May have to separate.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Snacks, American.
