Ingredients/Components
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- corn syrup - 1/2 c
- popped corn - 8 qt
- cream of tartar - 1/4 tsp
- light brown sugar - 2 c
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
How to make caramel corn:
Mix sugar, syrup and butter in pan. Stir constantly and bring to a hard boil for 3 minutes. Take off the stove and add baking soda and cream of tartar.Mix in fast and well. Pour over corn and mix until all corn is covered. Put in oven at 200° for 45 minutes. Mix at least 4 times during time in oven.
